Thank you for visiting our home on the web. If this is your first time visiting us, the South Bay Children's Health Center is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), tax exempt, philanthropic, charitable corporation.
The Center provides out-patient dental and mental health services to those children, kindergarten through high school age, who come from low and moderate income families, and who cannot afford these vital health services. No child is refused service because of race, color, gender, religion, national origin, or ability to pay. This past year has been our best ever. Over 11,461 children received diagnostic examinations and treatments through our clinics. In addition, on July 2008 the administration of the South Bay Youth Project was transferred from the City of Redondo Beach to the South Bay Children’s Health Center. The mission of the South Bay Youth Project is to provide mental health services to families in the South Bay community.
In 2009 the South Bay Children's Health Center began offering Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Psychological Testing services to meet a growing need in our community. We offer a comprehensive evaluation and recommendations for appropriate treatment options.
