On
July 1, 2006, I assumed the position of Executive Director
of the South Bay Children’s Health Center upon the retirement
of the former Executive Director, Herbert C. Masi. I am
not new to SBCHC but have come up through the ranks and
have been a full-time staff employee since 2000, working
as the Office Administrator, Community Resource Officer
and Chairing the Center’s Annual Fundraisers.
As
Executive Director, I look forward to serving the South
Bay Communities and insuring that the youth continue to
receive the quality, vital healthcare services that the
South Bay Children’s Health Center provides to the low
and moderate income families and to up-hold the Center’s
motto of “Help a Child”.

Check-up. x-rays,
an examination, a cleaning with fluoride, patient oral hygiene
instruction, and home care are provided on the first appointment.
Following the dental check-up, ongoing appointments are scheduled.
Patients are expected to pay $35.00 per visit as they are seen.
A $15.00 fee is charged for appointments broken less than 24 hours
ahead of time without a reasonable excuse.
We except: Medi-Cal, Beach Cities Health District, and
Healthy Families.
